How we Work
SSBC uses the experiences of its members to identify and disseminate tried-and-true support strategies, models, and guidelines, that seek to increase the potential for biogas and bioslurry development for nations in the global south. The consortium facilitates knowledge and experience exchanges among its members and outside of it to assist members in defining and implementing specific biogas/bioslurry intervention strategies. The consortium creates tools for effective regional biogas deployment and initiatives, including a compilation of detailed guidelines on realizing the potential for biogas and bioslurry development in developing nations based on tested support techniques. We endeavour to improve the consortium's and its members' visibility through cooperative dissemination and communication platforms: disseminating the project's activities and results, transferring knowledge to developing nations through background information, and communicating with important target audiences and the general public.
